i'm in love

i have always been a faithful lover to mint ice cream. of course i try lots of others, but when it comes down to it i almost always go back to any variety of mints. but last night i found a new lover, an ice cream that incorporates three of my most favorite cooking ingredients and flavors in the world . . . haagan dazs special reserve toasted coconut sesame brittle ice cream. holy moley. this stuff blew my world. creamy coconut ice cream, delicious toasted sesame yummy crunchy brittle, and infused throughout a hint of ginger. . . sigh. so good. sooooo good.

So, just curious ... how does this play into your marathon training, dear? (I only ask because you actually made me drool.)

Okay, so I couldn't find this in the local Smith's ... where'd you find it, missy?

Wait, those are my favorite flavors all combined. As for mint ice cream ... my husband thinks I am crazy for always picking the minty type. Did you try my Sambal recipe from a couple of weeks ago? Lots of coconut, ginger and garlic. Great with shrimp, not so tasty with icecream.

Found you through Sami! Love that girl! I just wanted to tell you that this post has inspired me to go buy this exact ice cream tonight! Thanks!

Lucky! We don't have that here. We don't have a lot of really great things here. We just recently have been able get Rocky Road. You couldn't get that 20 years ago when we moved here. You still can't get burn almond fudge. That was one of Grandpa's favorties.
